Description
This beautiful coat or towel rack is made from the stave of a reclaimed, white oak Tennessee whiskey barrel with a bung hole. Included are four sturdy cast iron hooks resembling bent rail road spikes. Two bands from the whiskey barrel hoops are highlighted on both ends of the stave.
The bourbon barrel staves have been cleaned, sanded, stained and then finished with several coats of polyurethane to protect your piece for many years. The staves sport a natural golden oak finish which allows beauty and character of the markings found on the barrels to shine through. The underside of the wood displays the charring that occurred during when the barrel was originally fabricated. Each stave is unique and therefore will vary slightly in color and markings. Each stave is natural and unique and will vary slightly in color and wear compared to the sample photo.
Two pre-drilled holes for mounting your rack on the wall are concealed under the end bands. The holes are spaced 32″ apart for mounting on wall studs if applicable. The rack can also be mounted on drywall, however the maximum weight of the rack and its hung contents should weigh no more than 75 pounds. Mounting hardware is included.
This rack will look great on any of your walls or would make a great wedding or housewarming gift!
