Description
This whiskey barrel head lazy susan is made from white oak wood reclaimed from Tennessee whiskey barrels and measures approximately 21″ in diameter and is 2.75″ high and weights about 16 pounds. The barrel heads/lids have been sourced from distilleries’ used barrels so they are not perfectly flat. However, we break down the lid in our workshop, glue them together, then sand them down to a flatness that will ensure it functions as a lazy susan should, but without compromising the character of the wood (see photo with yardstick to demonstrate how flat the surface is).
The 12′” heavy-duty lazy susan hardware can handle a load of up to 1,000 pounds. It is attached to the barrel head by a base made of pine and includes rubber pads on the bottom to protect your furniture. A food-safe finish is then applied to protect and preserve the wood from spills and stains.
Choose between 4 stain colors: (1) natural color, (2) aged barrel gray, (3) pecan, or (4) dark walnut. Note that the actual color of finished product may vary slightly based on lighting and your screen. There are also variations in the wood grain and discoloration may have occurred during the life of the barrel, yet this is what gives this piece its character.

Your personalization is truly engraved–not painted–so so you will never have to worry about fading or chipping. If you do wish to engrave this product, then we recommend that you choose either the natural or pecan stain so that the engraving really pops, compared to when engraved on darker stains such as the walnut or aged barrel gray.
