Description
This whiskey barrel head serving tray is made from white oak wood reclaimed from Tennessee whiskey barrels and measures approximately 21″ in diameter and is 1.25″ high and weights about 8 pounds. Choose between 4 stain colors: (1) natural color, (2) aged barrel gray, (3) pecan, or (4) dark walnut. Note that the actual color of finished product may vary slightly based on lighting and your screen. There are also variations in the wood grain and discoloration may have occurred during the life of the barrel, yet this is what gives this piece its character.
The barrel heads/lids have been sourced from distilleries’ used barrels so they are not perfectly flat. However, we break down the lid in our workshop, glue them together, then sand them down to a flatness that will ensure it functions properly as a serving tray. but without compromising the character of the wood. Please refer to the photo with the level for an example of the flatness of one of our trays.
Two black 7″ cast iron handles will be mounted on the sides of the barrel head for easy carrying.
Take you tray to the next level by custom laser engraving it with your own personal logo or family monogram and text! Your personalization is truly engraved-not painted– so you will never have to worry about fading or chipping. If you do wish to engrave this product, then we recommend that you choose either the natural or pecan stain so that the engraving really pops, compared to when engraved on darker stains such as the walnut or aged barrel gray.
